Community Youth Services
Community Youth Services (CYS) provides youth and family prevention, early intervention and substance abuse outpatient services. We have served tens of thousands of south Broward County residents since 1999, and we are an approved provider with Broward schools.
CYS programs are funded through grants and contracts with:

- Children’s Services Council (Broward County)
- Department of Children and Families
- Florida Department of Law Enforcement
- Healthy Families of Broward County
- Health Foundation of South Florida
- Healthy Start Coalition of Broward County

Adolescent Outpatient Individual & Group Therapy

Community-based in homes, schools and other settings
Substance abuse, crime prevention and academic improvement. Counseling services designed to help people with mental health and/or substance abuse issues.
Education Programs
The goal of parent education is to reduce drug/alcohol use, teen suicide, juvenile delinquency, gang involvement, child abuse and domestic violence. Short-term objectives are to increase parents' sense of competence, positive family/parent/child interactions, positive parent/child relationships, child self-esteem and self-discipline, child social competency skills and increased parental involvement. Meetings are held in churches, schools, community agencies and other locations.
Guiding Good Choices
Provides parents of adolescents (ages 6 –14) with the necessary tools to raise children free of drug- and alcohol-associated problems
Staying Connected to Your Teen
Helps parents use a problem-solving style of communication that guides older youth (12-17 years old; special-needs children) to think for themselves
Strengthening Multi-Ethnic Families and Communities
Helps ethnic and culturally diverse parents of children age 3-18 raise children with a commitment to leading a violence-free, healthy lifestyle
South Broward Youth Coalition (SBYC)
Teens Promoting Healthy Neighborhoods
A blueprint for youth (12-17 years old) to become part of neighborhood solutions by focusing on community ownership and the development of leadership skills. SBYC meets at CYS:
