I am a general pediatric cardiologist at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, dedicated to caring for infants, children and adolescents with a wide range of cardiac concerns. With more than 30 years of experience, I am particularly interested in managing complex congenital heart conditions present from birth. I also specialize in non-invasive diagnostic testing, including EKGs and echocardiograms, to accurately identify and assess heart issues.

My passion for medicine began at an early age, even though I didn’t know any physicians personally. I was captivated by the blend of intellectual challenge and scientific knowledge used to improve people’s lives. Pediatrics felt like a natural fit for me, and I was especially drawn to the heart—a fascinating organ at the center of the body’s circuits and processes. Understanding the heart unlocks insights into so many other aspects of health.

Working with children is one of the most rewarding parts of my career. I love building connections with my young patients during office visits, learning about their lives, and helping them overcome health challenges so they can focus on just being kids. Children are remarkably resilient, and I strive to provide timely answers through in-office testing while educating and reassuring parents. My goal is to ensure families feel confident and supported as we navigate diagnoses and treatment plans together.

Beyond patient care, I am passionate about teaching and mentoring. I work closely with pediatric residents who rotate through our office, sharing both the medical knowledge needed to care for young hearts and the art of delivering an exceptional patient experience.
