About Me

Dr. Stephen Storer is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in pediatric orthopaedic surgery. He earned his medical degree at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. He then completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the Columbia University New York Orthopaedic Hospital Program. Participating hospitals included the Children's Hospital of New York, New York, Presbyterian Hospital and the Springfield Shriners Children's Hospital. He served as chief resident for the Columbia University Department of Orthopaedic Surgery during the last year of his residency training before completing a year of fellowship training in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. 

Dr. Storer is a member of numerous organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Surgeons and Alpha Omega Alpha, and the medical honor society. He is a past recipient of the prestigious O.R.E.F. grant to study bone biology. His areas of interest include sports injuries and surgery of the hip in children and adolescents.
