About Me
I chose the specialty of pediatric endocrinology because it’s a very exciting field with new advances in diagnoses and therapies that are evolving on a daily basis. I also enjoy the challenge of diagnosing and treating children with hormonal problems. My work encompasses a wide range of conditions: diabetes, precocious puberty, growth disorders, thyroid disorders, polycystic ovarian syndrome and Turner syndrome. I have a particular interest in disorders of puberty, Turner syndrome, growth disorders and endocrine disorders after cancer therapy.
Being able to help others is the best aspect of being a doctor. My patients are my priority. I’ll always do my best to listen to their concerns and do what’s necessary in order to help them. Children are honest and fun. I love that I get to interact with children of all ages and their families, and see my patients grow and develop physically and mentally. It is very gratifying to see them get better and become healthy adults.
I am proud to support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, an organization that funds diabetes research.
When I’m not working, I like spending time with my husband and son, taking bike rides, going to the park and watching movies.
